  1. Welcome to Scraps - the Freeform Personal Information Manager
  2.  
  3. Scraps is a Personal Information Manager (PIM) for your PC.   You
  4. can  use  Scraps  to  store  all those  odd  facts  and  bits  of
  5. information  that you come across in your busy life. Scraps  will
  6. then give you rapid access to those facts when they are needed.
  7.  
  8. Scraps  is  easy  to use even if you are not  very  familar  with
  9. computer programs.  A complete manual is supplied as a text  file
  10. on this disk, the file may be printed for easier reference.
  11.  
  12. Please run the INSTALL.EXE program.  No changes will be made to 
  13. your hard disk without asking for your permission first.
  14.  
  15. INSTALL  includes an Update Installation option for use if  you 
  16. already have an older version of Scraps installed.

  20. The following changes to Scraps were made too late to include in
  21. the manual.  Consult the built in help, which is up-to-date, for
  22. details:

  24. * New command Alt-Space on the Group menu.
  25.  
  26. * New SetUp option for Printer Configuration.
  27.  
  28. * Secondary sort key supported in ToDo.
  29.  
  30. * Deleted/done ToDo items now saved in text file TODO.TXT.
  31.  
  32. * Find/Locate command in ToDo list.
  33.  
  34. * Print ToDo now offers to print All or one of three possible
  35.   selections of items.
  36.  
  37. * During a Scraps/R check for reminders any appointments on the
  38.   Appointment Calendar for the current half hour period will be
  39.   indicated by a warning.
